One patron, many wallets.
Your voting budget is the sum of locked α across every coldkey you've proven control of. Add as many wallets as you want. Pick the method that fits each wallet.
Linked wallets
Each row is one ss58 you've proven control of. Locked α stays on chain in your wallet; we just read it.
Link a wallet
Two ways to prove you control a wallet. Either works; pick whichever your wallet supports more easily.
1. Paste the ss58 address you want to link:
2. Sign this challenge with the wallet you just entered. Via btcli on the command line:
Or any Bittensor wallet UI (Polkadot.js, Talisman, etc.) that signs an arbitrary message. The message to sign:
3. Paste the signature (the 128-character hex string from btcli's output — usually starts with 0x):
Common gotchas: btcli asks "use hotkey?" — if you said yes, the ss58 in step 1 must be your hotkey, not coldkey (and vice versa). If your paste includes surrounding text from btcli's panel, that's OK — we extract the hex automatically.
Some wallets (tao.com web app, hardware wallets, etc.) can't sign arbitrary messages — but they all support sending TAO. This path uses a unique tiny TAO transfer (~$0.30) as a one-time proof of control.
1. Get the unique amount we've reserved for your verification:
2. Send EXACTLY this amount of TAO from the wallet you want to link:
3. Once sent, click below. We'll scan the chain for your transfer (also runs every minute in the background, so if you close the tab you'll still get linked):
